Can I do color printing with this model?
The Smartech inkjet coding device is only suitable for single-color printing. You can use Black, Soft Yellow, and FG Red ink. Please specify which type of ink you require before ordering.
Which consumable will I use the most? How much ink and thinner does the device consume?
Firstly, consumable consumption varies depending on the font size used and the ambient temperature. With a 7x5 matrix font, you can print 90,000,000 characters per unit.

The Smartech inkjet coding device consumes 2ml/hour of slimming solution at 15 degrees Celsius, while at 25 degrees Celsius it consumes 6ml/hour. In short, these types of devices tend to consume more slimming solution during the summer months.
The machine I'm using consumes a lot of thinner. Is the Smartech CI8550 more economical in this regard?
